On an intercity route cargo stays in the body longer than on a city job. Preparing the lot reduces shift risk and speeds up the quote.
Before the request
- List the pieces: what and how many.
- Measure the largest items or count pallets.
- Take a few photos of the assembled cargo.
- Write the addresses and whether a temperature regime is needed.
Packing
Close the boxes. Keep fragile items separate. Furniture travels better flat-packed when possible. Equipment and components should stay in factory packaging or with padding. Pallets must be stable so they can be secured in the body.
At loading
